About the Game

Echoes of the Hunted is a tense, stealth-survival hide-and-seek game built around the dual themes of Echoes and Reflections.

You play as the Prey—a small, red, anxious creature with distinctly heavy footsteps—trapped in a crumbling, labyrinthine facility. Something is hunting you. The catch? The Hunter is completely invisible in the physical world, and your every move threatens to give away your position. You must rely on your wits, the environment, and the clever use of sound and light to survive until the timer runs out.

Core Mechanics

• Watch the Reflections: You cannot see the Hunter with your naked eye. To track its movements, you must constantly monitor the environment for reflections. Look into shattered wall mirrors, dark puddles of water on the floor, and polished metal surfaces to catch glimpses of the creature stalking you.
• Beware Your Echoes: Your character's large feet aren't just for show—running creates loud, echoing footsteps that bounce down the corridors. The Hunter is blind but has impeccable hearing. Moving too fast will draw it straight to your location. You must balance slow, silent creeping with desperate sprints to safety.
• Weaponize Sound: Use the environment to your advantage. Throw debris down an empty hallway to create false echoes, luring the Hunter away from your actual hiding spot.
• Hide and Survive: When the echoes get too close and the puddles show a terrifying reflection right behind you, your only option is to hide. Dive under tables, squeeze into vents, and hold your breath.
